SPRING MEETING 2026

THURSDAY 30th APRIL COVENTRY GOLF CLUB

The Spring Golf Tournament will be held, this year, at Coventry Golf Club. This is the home club of Barry Hallam who will be our captain in 2027. 

 

The format will be a 4-ball Shotgun start, played in better-ball pairs, starting at 1.00pm. Although this could mean a long walk for some players it does enable us to field the maximum number of players with less waiting time in the clubhouse.

 

We are able to accommodate 72 players. The entry is £80 per pair - £60 for Coventry members. This cost covers a bacon roll and coffee for lunch at 12 o clock, dinner, prizes and a donation to the host club.

 

Members may invite a guest to play as their partner.  The guest must be the captain or a past captain of one of the member clubs of WGC. 

 

A member without a partner can enter and will be paired up by the organiser if possible. Cost £40/ £30 for Coventry members.​
